Founder Al Levon got his start as a teenager working alongside a family friend, learning the trade one job at a time: how to properly prep a surface, how to read a wall for imperfections before a single drop of paint goes on, how to cut a clean line without tape, and how to talk with a homeowner about what they actually want instead of what’s easiest for the crew. Those early years on the job taught both the technical skill and the appreciation for the craft that still drives Pro Tech Painting today.
More than three decades later, the reward hasn’t changed. It’s still that moment when a homeowner or business owner sees their property transformed for the first time, whether that’s a single room that finally feels finished, or an entire commercial building that looks brand new from the street. Over the years, the business has grown from one person with a brush and a ladder into a full team capable of handling everything from a single bedroom repaint to large-scale commercial and industrial projects across the Valley, including work on a 17-story tower in downtown Phoenix, multiple shopping centers, and the Phoenix Convention Center.
